About Us
Let’s Talk Hormones was founded in response to a clear gap in endocrine education within Alberta’s public school system. While youth are among the most vulnerable to endocrine-related conditions, formal education is limited to a single optional course, Biology 30.
Our organization addresses this deficit by delivering grade-specific classroom presentations across the Greater Edmonton Area. Topics range from puberty, stress, and sleep to weight management and overall hormone health. Each presentation is designed to be engaging, accessible, and relevant, and is facilitated by students from the University of Alberta.
The initiative was started by Daniel Gamba, a physiology student at the University of Alberta. Motivated by a passion for endocrinology and public speaking, Daniel set out to make hormone literacy more accessible to youth.
